Mission Statement

THE SCHOOL FOR YOUNG CHILDREN IS A MODEL PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES SELF-CONTAINED CLASSES DESIGNED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF LEARNING DISABLED CHILDREN. THE AIM OF THE SCHOOL IS TO HELP EACH CHILD DEVELOP TO HIS/HER MAXIMUM POTENTIAL BY REMEDIATING AREAS OF WEAKNESS AND ALLOWING FOR CONTINUED GROWTH IN AREAS OF STRENGTH. OF EQUAL IMPORTANCE IS THAT A POSITIVE SELF-CONCEPT IS DEVELOPED WITHIN EACH CHILD AS HE/SHE ACHIEVES ACADEMIC SUCCESS.
