Mission Statement

THE GEORGIA ACADEMY FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ASSITING GEORGIA'S LEADERS IN THEIR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS BY PROVIDING AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE CRITICAL PROCESSES, STRATEGIES, AND SOLUTIONS INVOLVED IN IMPROVING THEIR COMMUNITY AND ACHIEVING ECONOMIC SUCCESS IN TODAY'S GLOBAL ECONOMY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SUPPORTS THOSE ACTIVITIES BELIEVED TO BE BENEFICIAL TO THE COMMUNITY AND OPPOSES THOSE WHICH MIGHT BE DETRIMENTAL.
