Mission Statement

The primary exempt purpose of the Hasbrouck Heights Firemen's Relief Association is to provide financial relief to active and retired members of the Hasbrouck Heights Volunteer Fire Department. The relief is provided to those members and their families who file an application for such assistance and demonstrate the need for relief. The money from the organization is derived from the New Jersey State Firemen's Association, which in turn receives funds from a levy on all fire insurance premiums written by insurance companies chartered outside the State of New Jersey.
