Local Community Housing Corporation (LCHC) is a nonprofit 501c3 agency and its mission is to manage and provide affordable housing and facilitate services that promote stability for children, individuals and families and upward mobility for increased quality of life. It is governed by a Board of Directors that mirrors the same individual Commissioners appointed by the City of Tarpon Springs commission for the Tarpon Springs Housing Authority, interlocking Board. Both agencies share the same personnel policies, follow their own financial policies and have formal governance requirements, TSHA- Bylaws and LCHC- Articles of Incorporation. LCHC cultivates strategic partnerships, strengthens resources and develops innovative services for housing residents and the community.
