THE FOUNDATION USES CONTRIBUTIONS TO FUND RESEARCH FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER DRUGS, INCLUDING UNDERWRITING A LAB AT MEMORIAL SLOAN-KETTERING CANCER CENTER, AND ALSO FINANCIALLY SUPPORTS LOW INCOME FAMILIES AND MILITARY FAMILIES WHO HAVE CHILDREN WITH CANCER. IT ALSO PURSUES LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY CHANGES THAT SEEK TO BENEFIT CHILDREN WITH CANCER AND AT THE SAME TIME TO RAISE AWARENESS OF ISSUES INVOLVING PEDIATRIC CANCER. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION ALSO DONATES LIMITED FUNDS TO OTHER 501(C)(3)CHARITIES NOT DIRECTLY RELATED TO PEDIATRIC CANCER CAUSES WHICH ASSIST THE FOUNDATION IN ITS MISSION STATED ABOVE.
