The National Black Theatre Workshop Incorporated was incorporated in October 1968 as a cultural and educational institution. The purpose of the Organization is to create a cultural hub for community-based artists; to offer through its programs, namely Theatre Arts, Entrepreneurial Arts and Communication Arts, activities for cultural enrichment and education; and to generate a creative environment where artistic needs could be satisfied.
