Mission Statement

THE COUNCIL WAS CREATED BY OREGON'S MAJOR INSURERS AND HOSPITALS TO IDENTIFY WAYS TO LOWER RAPIDLY GROWING MEDICAL COSTS AND THE COSTS OF HEALTH INSURANCE IN ORDER TO IMPROVE BUSINESS CONDITIONS IN THE HEALTH CARE FIELD BY MAKING BOTH HEALTH CARE AND HEALTH INSURANCE MORE AFFORDABLE, AND THUS MORE ACCESSIBLE, TO ALL OREGONIANS.
