Mission Statement

In accordance with our Articles of Incorporation the sole function of Richmond Gentry Inc. is to provide dinner dances and other social functions for the entertainment of its members and their guests. All past present and planned activities fall within this characterization. The activities are conducted by members who volunteer their time. Food and drink services are provided by the venue or may be catered in. Entertainment is provided by hired live musicians or a disc jockey. Formal activities are typically conducted in a ballroom or similar facility that is usually provided ancillary to the cost of meals and beverages but may sometimes be rented separately. Informal events are held in a picnic shelter or similar. One hundred percent of the organizations time is devoted to the activities stated above. Activities are funded by members annual dues and fees for attendance at events. All receipts are used to conduct these events.
