Mission Statement

THE THEATER ARTS GROUP WAS FORMED TO SUPPORT THE AMERICAN CINEMATHEQUE, AN ORGANIZATION DESCRIBED IN INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE CODE SECTIONS 501(C)(3) AND 170(B)(1)(A)(VI), ORGANIZED TO ENSURE PUBLIC ACCESS TO LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CINEMAS, WHICH ARE OTHERWISE UNAVAILABLE AND ARE OF HISTORICAL OR EDUCATIONAL IMPORTANCE TO THE COMMUNITY.
