THE GOAL OF THE THREE SISTERS HERITAGE CENTER IS TO EDUCATE CHILDREN AND ADULTS ALIKE ABOUT THE EARLY HISTORY OF THE PEOPLE OF THE SOUTHEAST. THIS INCLUDES TEACHING THEM THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF THE NATIVE AMERICANS AND ALSO THE EARLY EUROPEAN SETTLERS WHO CAME TO LIVE THERE. WE BELIEVE THAT INTERACTIVE EDUCATION IS THE BEST WAY TO TEACH HISTORY AND TO INSPIRE PEOPLE TO WANT TO LEARN MORE. WE WANT TO PROVIDE A VISUAL KINETIC WAY OF LEARNING SO THAT PEOPLE WHO USED TO FIND HISTORY BORING WILL NOW FIND IT INTERESTING.LEARNING SKILLS WILL BOOST CONFIDENCE, AS WELL AS PROVIDING VALUABLE CHARCTER BUILDING LESSIONS FOR THE FUTURE. HISTORY IS POSSIBLY THE MOST IMPORTANT SUBJECT TO STUDY IN ORDER TO BUILD SOCIETY. UNFORTUNATELY, IT HAS TAKEN A BACK SEAT IN MODERN EDUCATION. IF TAUGHT AT ALL, IT IS USUALLY TWISTED AND USED AS A POLITICAL TOOL TO PUSH AN AGENDA. WE BELIEVE THAT IF SOCIETY DOES NOT STUDY THE PAST THEN IT WILL MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES OF THE PAST.
