Mission Statement

Our mission is to broaden access to cycling in Topeka through hands-on education and bike repair. The Topeka Community Cycle Project exists to serve everyone through various programs. You can bring your own bike during open shop to work on with our tools, earn a bike from our Earn-A-Bike program, come Volunteer at open shop, be educated in cycling safety at one of our certified safety instructor-led Classes, or find one of our locally built Bike Racks to lock up to. TCCP is a place to learn new skills and develop a community of cyclists in and around Topeka. We are a not-for-profit community organization that is entirely volunteer-run. You don't have to be a bike mechanic to be helpful. Our volunteers also greet shop visitors, help maintain the shop space, and assist with our classes. Join us!
