Mission Statement
Tornadoes Swim Team is a swim team that is run by community and parent volunteers to provide an opportunity for youth to swim on a team, and compete within the USA swimming regulations. The team provides an environment for youth to grow and develop the skills necessary to swim competitively, and prepare to be productive, positive and contributing citizens. The organization collects monthly fees/dues for each swimmer and uses those funds to rent pool space from a local YMCA & hire/pay coaches with collegiate/professional swimming experience. The fees are charged in a way to maintain a minimal reserve in the bank and support teambuilding events 2-3x per year.
