TRAUMA JOURNALISM DEFINES JOURNALISTS; PROFESSIONAL WORK COVERING COMBAT, CRIME, AND CATASTROPHE. TRAUMA JOURNALISTS ARE FIRST RESPONDERS TO NEWS EVENTS AND ARE OFTEN AT RISK OF PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL INJURY FROM THE VIOLENCE, CONFLICT, AND TRAGEDY THEY COVERTO PROVIDE ACCURATE INFORMATION TO THE WORLD.
