Mission Statement

The purpose of The Underdog Connection encompasses the following to find permanent loving homes for animals in need via adoption through the organization to network animals in need predominantly from the southern United States to northern shelters and rescues accepting animals into their programs to sponsor the animals in need which are comprised of strays animals in city shelters and animals in rural shelters and pounds who do not receive exposure to rescue partners to raise funds to ensure the animals in need receive proper vetting and have transport to their new locations to make donations to other animal welfare organizations that accept these unwanted animals to raise funds to assist other animal welfare organizations with unexpected medical costs to educate and promote the importance of spaying neutering how to prevent animal cruelty and other activities that align with the purpose of the organization.
