Mission Statement

The UNITE Foundation was founded with the mission of providing consistent and sustainable financial support to a unique youth development program called Camp UNITE. Located in Togo and Benin, West Africa, Camp UNITE is an educational summer camp program managed through the collaboration of local Togolese and Beninoise non-profit organizations and U.S. Peace Corps Volunteers. Each year, 20-100 young people benefit, free-of-charge, from Camp UNITE's "Life Skills" curriculum.For each camp, over the course of a week, campers are taught the skills and knowledge they need to lead healthy lives and to successfully confront the challenges of growing up in a developing country.
