The United States Secret Service Special Agents' Benefit Association (SABA) was founded in 1984 as a not-for-profit organization and is exempt from tax under Section 501 (c) (9) of the Internal Revenue Code. The SABA provides death benefits for member beneficiaries. Membership is available to all Special Agents of the United States Secret Service. Revenues are principally provided by annual member assessments and investment income. Assessments and benefit levels are periodically reviewed and adjusted by the Governing Board.
