UALA ACCOMPLISHES THIS MISSION BY WORKING TO PROMOTE THE PHILOSOPHY AND CONCEPT OF ASSISTED LIVING THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF UTAH, BY INCREASING KNOWLEDGE, IMPROVING SKILLS, AND PROVIDING SOURCES OF COMMUNICATION FOR UALA MEMBERS, AND BY ASSISTING REGULATORY BODIES IN DEFINING STANDARDS AS THEY APPLY TO THE ASSISTED LIVING INDUSTRY.UALA ORGANIZES AND HOSTS AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE TO WHICH MOST, IF NOT ALL, OF THE OWNERS AND OPERATORS OF ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES IN THE STATE OF UTAH ARE INVITED TO ATTEND. THE ONE-DAY CONFERENCE BRINGS TOGETHER UNDER ONE ROOF THE OWNERS AND OPERATORS OF THESE ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES, AS WELL AS VARIOUS VENDORS WHO SUPPORT THESE FACILITIES, FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE FACILITIES THROUGH EDUCATION AND COLLABORATION, AS WELL AS TO ENHANCE THE REPUTATION AND IMPROVE THE FOOTPRINT OF THESE FACILITIES IN THE
