Mission Statement

TEACHER'S FUND IS DEDICATED TO SUPPORTING TEACHERS IN THE SANTA BARBARA AREA BY DONATING FUNDS FOR CLASSROOM NEEDS NOT COVERED BY OTHER FUNDING SOURCES. TEACHER'S FUND GRANTS FUNDS TO K-12TH GRADE TEACHERS IN TRADITIONAL AND NONTRADITIONAL SCHOOL ENVIRONMENTS FROM CARPINTERIA TO THE SANTA YNEZ VALLEY. THE PURPOSE OF TEACHER'S FUND IS TO PROVIDE SANTA BARBARA AREA TEACHERS WITH FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO PURCHASE CLASSROOM SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT, RESOURCES, AND TECHNOLOGY NOT COVERED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT, THE SCHOOL PTA/PTO GROUPS, OR A SCHOOL FOUNDATION. IT IS THE HOPE THAT TEACHERS WILL NOT HAVE TO USE THEIR PERSONAL FUNDS TO ACQUIRE RESOURCES, TECHNOLOGY AND/OR SUPPLIES FOR THEIR CLASSROOMS AND THEIR STUDENTS.
