Mission Statement

Virginia Crop Production Association, Inc. (VACPA) is a group of Agribusiness personnel whose goal is to instruct VA agribusiness dealers in the safe and proper use of agricultural chemicals. They work closely with VA Tech, VA Cooperative Extension, VA Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and various other groups such as VA department of Soil and Water Conservation and The VA Agribusiness Council. VACPA's average membership is 150. The membership dues provide VACPA's income. VACPA holds one educational seminar type meeting annually. To present the best instructors at the lowest cost contributions are solicited. Total donations for 2023 were 25,277.00. This total does vary from year to year. The cost of the meeting was as follows: Hotel 26,366.00 and Speakers and Related Expenses 5,174.00 for a total meeting expense of 31,540.00.
