THE ORGANIZATION ENCOURAGES AND FACILITATES LOCAL RESEARCH AND EDUCATION RELATED TO ORTHOPEDIC DISORDERS AND INJURIES BY ASSISTING PHYSICIANS, RESEARCHERS, EDUCATORS, AND CARE-GIVERS TO OBTAIN GRANTS FROM OTHER INSTITUTIONS AND GRANT-MAKERS.THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS AND CONDUCTS PERIODIC PANELS, FORUMS, LECTURES, AND DISCUSSION GROUPS FOR MEMBERS OF THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY, LAY PERSONS, AND PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
