Mission Statement

To provide the traveling public with information about the archaeological, natural, cultural, historic, geologic and recreational attractions along the Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway.To protect the unique features of the byways, which contributed to its designation as a national All-American road. To develop promotional and educational materials, interpretive displays, and facilities along the byway that will enhance the educational experience of visitors.To facilitate the cooperation of all the communities and agencies along th byway.To promote and preserve its features.To acquire funding necessary to accomplish the purposes identified above.
