Mission Statement

The Walk San Francisco Foundation believes San Francisco should be the most pedestrian-friendly city in the country. Yet, every 15 hours on average in San Francisco, someone is taken to the hospital after being injured in a traffic crash. Walk SF works to improve San Franciscos street safety through policy advocacy, community organizing, and educating residents, city agencies, and elected officials on the need for more pedestrian-friendly streets.
