The Corporation is organized exclusively to support acceleration of technology innovation for a sustainable and competitive Washington maritime industry within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The Corporation will be primarily engaged in promoting collaboration with the Washington maritime sector and the general public, in order to develop and support maritime business, technology and practices that promote a sustainable future contributing to ecological health, thriving communities and economic growth the Blue Economy. This will be accomplished through a cluster organization that works in partnership with business, government, academic institutions, Ports, labor organizations, economic and workforce development, and community-based organizations.
