THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES AS A MUSEUM, PROVIDING HISTORICAL EDUCATION TO THE PUBLIC WHILE MAINTAINING A PUBLIC BUILDING HOUSING ARTICLES OF HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE TO THE WAVERLY NEW YORK AND SURROUNDING AREAS.
