Mission Statement

WEG Films is a nonprofit film and media collective seeking to support, celebrate and empower filmmakers, filmmaking, stories and storytellers in and from South Florida to the shared benefit of artists, audiences and the diverse communities that shape them. With continued support from national arts organizations, film industry stakeholders, regional institutions and grassroots community partners, WEG is determined to elevate artists and community-driven arts programming with the ultimate goal of platforming the stories and storytellers that cinematically define South Florida's vast cultural identity.
