Mission Statement

WV Hands & Voices WVH&V is a parent-lead organization dedicated to the support of families who have children who are deaf or hard of hearing without bias toward communication modes or methodology. WVH&V provides activities and information statewide to parents and professionals that may include outreach events educational seminars advocacy support and parent-to-parent networking. WVH&V believes that families will make the best choices for their child if they have access to good information and support. WVH&V represents people who use a variety of languages and varying approaches to communication access and educational outcomes for their children who are deaf or hard of hearing. The outreach activities parent professional collaboration and advocacy efforts are focused on enabling deaf or hard of hearing children to reach their highest potential.
