Mission Statement

Westsound Youth Basketball Association (WSYBA) is a non-profit organization formed to provide an opportunity for young people to improve their basketball skills. The goal is to provide boys and girls of all age, race, and skill level the opportunity to learn basketball fundamentals and be taught the game of basketball. It is the organization's belief that basketball is an ideal venue to teach attributes such as sportsmanship, discipline, cooperation, competition, self-confidence, and teamwork. The teaching of fundamentals and sportsmanship at an early age cannot be emphasized enough.
