WHIT DAVIS MEMORIAL CENTER, INC. IS A GROUP HOME FOR TEN DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED INDIVIDUALS. RESIDENTS RECEIVE LIVING AND SELF-HELP SKILLS TRAINING TO ENABLE THEM TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. SECTION 202 LOAN FUNDS WERE OBTAINED FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD). IN ADDITION TO THE LOAN, HUD PROVIDES RENTAL SUPPLEMENTS FOR THE RESIDENTS AND REQUIRES THEM TO PAY A RENTAL AMOUNT. THE RESIDENT'S RENT APPROXIMATES 30% OF THEIR ADJUSTED INCOME OR IT IS A FLAT RENTAL FEE DETERMINED BY HUD.
