The primary purpose of the Wisconsin Workforce Development Association is to combine the efforts and expertise of chief local elected officials, workforce development board Chairs, and the workforce development board Executive Director from the eleven workforce development areas in Wisconsin to serve job seekers and employers through the development of a strong workforce development system throughout Wisconsin primarily by sharing information, promoting best practices, educating stakeholders on workforce development policy and developing positions on workforce development policy.
