Mission Statement

To present a program of woodworking classes and activities to provide educational resources and instruction to everyone who has a shared interest in woodworking and furniture making as well as a shared interest in sustaining this time-honored craft. The woodworking school is a place of teaching learning buildings evolvement socialization community mentorship fun and creativity. It is a place where both young and old gather where youth expand and explore potential career options where women find a place historically not open to them where adults older adults and seniors find new purpose and activity and where the elders and masters pass on wisdom as their legacy.
