Mission Statement

The primary purpose of this organization is to promote interest in golf and to encourage the development of women golfers in the Worcester County area. Member clubs generously host a tournament each year. As such, there is an extensive Schedule of Tournaments offered from May to September. We thank each club for offering its facilities. All events require each member to obtain a USGA handicap. On average, a schedule of 20 events is prepared prior to the start of each season. The schedule includes Major Tournaments such as: a 2 Day Championship, a Senior Championship, a Memorial Championship and Four Ball Tournaments. The remainder of the events are played as stroke play events. Major Tournament winners are awarded a monetary prize on the day of the tournament. Upon completion of the 2 Day Championship, a sleeve of balls will be awarded to the player from each division who has the most improved second day gross score.
