The St. Louis based World Agricultural Forum ("WAF") was created to serve global agriculture as its only continuing forum for inclusive debate and discussion. Topics for forum discussion address the challenge a burgeoning population demands consistent with sustainable agronomic practices that seek increased productivity from decreased crop lands. The WAF generally had a World Congress every other year. During its existence, a world congress was held on May 23-25, 1999, May 20-22, 2001, May 18-20, 2003, May 16-18, 2005, May 8-10, 2007, May 18-20, 2009, november 28 - december 1, 2011, November 4-7, 2013, and July 6-7, 2017. A Latin America regional conference was held May 16-18, 2004. An Asia Roundtable was held March 8-10, 2009 and a Latin America roundtable was held May 12-13, 2010.
