Mission Statement

The purpose of WHS Band Boosters includes: To develop and maintain enthusiastic interest and support in the Weslaco High School Band programs at Weslaco High School; To lend and provide moral, financial, and participatory support to the band program at Weslaco High School; Through continuous cooperation with the Director of Bands and school officials, the organization shall assist in developing and maintaining a band program of the highest possible standards for Weslaco High School Band students; To develop and continue an effective and committed Weslaco High School Band Booster Organization that will strive to provide tenacious and enthusiastic support of all activities and undertaking of the Weslaco High School Band Program; To secure adequate policies by the District in the care and protection of children and youth; and, To bring into close relationship the home and school, that parents and teachers may work in harmony to enhance the music education of children and youth.
