FOUNDED IN 1989, YSP SIMULTANEOUSLY PROVIDES HOUSING, CHILDCARE, COUNSELING, CASE MANAGEMENT AND JOB & LIFE SKILLS TRAINING TO NEARLY 400 INDIVIDUALS EACH YEAR THAT ALLOWS THEM TO BEGIN THEIR JOURNEY OUT OF POVERTY TOWARD A LIFE OF SELF-SUFFICIENCY. THE MISSIONS OF THE YORK STREET PROJECT (YSP) IS TO WEAVE INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS THAT SHELTER, FEED, EDUCATE AND PROMOTE THE HEALING AND INDEPENDENCE OF PERSONS IN NEED, ESPECIALLY WOMEN, CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.
