Mission Statement

The mission is to preserve the natural environment by acquiring, owning and operating ecologically significant undeveloped land and maintaining the land with limited public access in its natural state to conserve natural resources for future generations. To promote and provide education of the public regarding the Yuba River watershed, the natural environment, native ecosystems, sustainable land practices, the arts, collective decision making structures and the land preserved by the corporation. To acquire and steward undeveloped land containing natural habitat to combat community deterioration and to improve the public's educational, cultural and environmental condition by preserving the land for education, public recreation and enjoyment of nature.
